Cameroon-Zambia
The first surprise is that, watching Cameroon play Egypt the other day, the side looks desperately in need of a makeover.
The second surprise is that the side is under 1,60 to win this.
I think they will win. After all, they are the "home" side but the odds are a nonsense and perhaps only some in-running stuff for me.

Egypt-Sudan
It was always on the cards that bad boy Mido´s disgraceful behaviour in 2006 would see him left behind this time and it can hardly be said that the Egyptians are suffering in his absence. Not with Zidan is form and the title holders should all but secure a place in the knock-out stages here.

Catania-Parma
I´ve seen Catania in some Coppa Italia action and see them as slightly overpriced (2,38) against Parma who are 0-2-7 away from home.
Cagliari-Napoli
Time for a change of fortune for Cagliari whose home record hasn´t been helped by recent visits of high flyers Udinese and Inter. Napoli should be more our cup of tea with just one away win and 20 conceded goals in 9 matches. Cagliari @ 3,30 is tempting.
AC Milan-Genoa
The Genoa odds @ 17,00 are rather large considering Milan have won just 1 Serie A match in the San Siro!

I´m not sure the Namibians will be good enough or motivated enough to take something from Guinea who will start without captain and big star Feindouno which will give Namibia a boost. They´re still mathematically in with a shout, however slim, and they´ll have no choice but to go for it.
That might be the Moroccan way of thinking too, in which case they´ll need to go on the offensive against the hosts and I don´t think the task is an impossible one.
Morocco +½ @ 1,88 is the best I can do.

Emmen-Volendam 3,40
Unbeaten in 14 going back to October the home lay and Volendam look the likely lads.
FC Eindhoven-Roosendal 2,42
Eindhoven are bottom team in this league but earn all their points at home having lost just 3 of 12 while Roosendal have 8 draws from 12 aways. With just a goal scored and a goal conceded on average this is a side who don´t feel comfortable at the other side of the halfway line and the lay looks likliest.
Waalwijk-Haarlem 1,36
RKC are on their way back up to the top table and won´t want the likes of Haarlem getting in the way.

Wehen Wiesbaden v Hoffenheim
Only thing you can point to with any certainty on this, the first day back after the Xmas break, is that both these sides´ respective home and away averages are over 2,5 and then some. Only other thing I know is that John McEnroe was born in Wiesbaden.

Mgladbach v Kaiserslautern

Klaus Topmøller was hired to walk the Kaiserslauten corridors in suit and tie (like Dennis Wise only quieter) until he tried to oust Norwegian Rekdal in favour of Lothar Matthaus which didn´t gain any currency and Klaus had to hand the suit back in and go.
Still leaves Kaiserslautern in disarray as they visit high flyers BMG who had Neuville, Friend and Røsler gelling nicely before the break though Canadian Friend will miss today´s game.

FC Koln v St Pauli
Just leaves these two then. It´s always tough to figure Køln out and I stopped bothering a good while back.
They should win this easily but they miight also lose.
